Museums, libraries and community centers tell stories for a living. Printed walls let them change the story with every exhibit, season and program.

What to plan for
- Public projects run on budgets and approvals. Ask when the budget year starts.
- Temporary exhibits are repeat work. Quote the next one when you finish this one.
- Use public domain or licensed images, and get approval in writing.
How to pitch it
The best prospects have a wall people see every day, a reason to change now, like an opening, a rebrand or a renovation, someone you can reach who decides, and a budget for signage, decor or branding already. Start with museum directors, library branch managers, parks and recreation departments and community foundations.
The walk-in takes about 20 seconds:
“Hi, I’m [name] with [your business]. We print full-color murals and graphics straight onto walls, right here in [city]. Can I show you what that wall would look like with your logo on it?”
Take a photo of the wall, mock the design up on it, and follow up with an email in two days and a call in a week. Most jobs aren’t lost to price. They’re lost to a follow-up that never happened.
Questions people ask
Can exhibit walls be changed?
Yes. Prime over a past exhibit and print the next one.
Do you print outdoors?
Yes, on brick, block, concrete and more. Outdoors, ask the team whether a clear coat makes sense for the surface.
Have a wall like this in mind? Send us a photo of the space and what you want on it. The team in Wilmington will tell you what to expect.
