In-house

Print your own floor, wall and glass graphics in house

Schools, facilities and brands with more than one location print their own wayfinding, signage and branded walls. One method instead of four vendors, on your schedule.

Your own crew prints the signs, wall graphics and floor graphics you already pay a vendor for. On walls, floors, glass, metal, concrete and acrylic, on your schedule instead of theirs.

What it costs today

Your current cost per square foot

Most companies already pay for this work, split across vendors and budgets.

Printed vinyl, installed

about $16 to $17

Hand-painted mural

$5 to $40

Printed by your crew

about $0.50 in ink, plus labor, the machine and upkeep

Cost per square foot. Vinyl and mural figures from published supplier pricing, 2025 to 2026. Applied vinyl is usually replaced every three to five years. Ink isn't all your costs. Your own number also carries the machine, setup, travel and upkeep. More on surface printing versus printed vinyl.

What it replaces

One method instead of four vendors

Instead of

Vinyl graphics and window film

Ink goes straight onto the surface. No seams, no adhesive, no lamination and no film to ship.

Instead of

Sign panels in metal, acrylic and PVC

Print on the surface itself, or onto your own panel stock in the shop. When a department moves, print the update.

Instead of

Court lines, aisle stripes and zone markings

Full-color logos and text, printed on your schedule with the Floor Series. Every floor sees different traffic, so ask us for a recommendation before you plan one.

Instead of

Subcontracted sign shop orders

Produced in house when you need it, not when the vendor's calendar opens up.

When vinyl still makes sense

Short-run graphics that come down in a week, anything above 11 feet, and surfaces that have to come off clean.

Who buys this

Three kinds of company buy this

Trade contractors

Adding a capability

Flooring, painting, coatings, sign companies and general contractors. You already have the clients, the crews and the truck. That's the service add-on path.

Worried your crew won't pick it up? The best operators are organized and good with files. We train them in a day, and after that we expect them to lean on us.

Facility operations

Producing in house

Plants, distribution centers, hospitals, schools, venues, hotels and dealership groups buying graphics from outside vendors.

Who runs it? Usually one person already on your team, part time. The machine doesn't care how much it runs. Moving ink through it is maintenance in itself.

Multi-location brands

Every location, one file

Restaurant, retail and hospitality groups that need the same graphics at every site, on the same schedule.

In Jason's words

We still run into new surfaces all the time

“We really don't know where this technology is going. We can say it's going to reach a lot more applications than walls.”

The Wall Printer® · 910-632-0320

Someone is always bringing us a surface we haven't printed yet: a textured coating, a curved panel, a material that's never been near a printer. So we run samples.

That's how most applications show up: a method somebody's tired of paying for, on a surface nobody's tried. This started as an extension of artwork. It's turning into a lot more than that.

So bring us yours. Send a photo of the surface and what it costs you to cover it today, and we'll tell you whether it prints, including when it doesn't.

Planning

Every job is different

Better to know these before the capital request than after the first job.

Height

Prints up to 11 ft high on vertical surfaces.

Edges

Leaves a margin, roughly 9 in at one edge, 14 in at another and 6 to 8 in at the bottom. Wall-to-wall coverage takes planning, so ask how your job handles the edges.

Power

No built-in battery. Needs power at the surface.

Outdoors

Outdoors, ask us whether a clear coat makes sense for your surface.

Speed

10 to 20 sq ft an hour.

Upkeep

About twenty minutes of maintenance every other day the machine runs.

What the Floor Series can print

The Floor Series on the job

The printers

Pro, Tech and Floor Series

Floors run on the Floor Series. Walls, glass and doors run on the Pro or Tech Series. White ink is standard on all three, so dark walls and glass print clean, and every price is a complete printer package with training and lifetime support.

Owners

What owners say about the support

Support within the hour

“Our biggest focus was customer service. Yes, we spent a little more on the printer, but in turn, I have access to customer support within the hour or less.”

Terry B.

Owner, Viking Designs & Graphics, Lubbock, TX

A week of painting, done in an hour

“I had just hand painted our logo in our office lobby, and it took me a week. As soon as we saw the printer, I was like, my gosh, we could have done that in an hour.”

Kelly J.

Owner, Modrn Ink, Madison, AL

A company that still answers the phone

“It's rare these days to find a company that still answers the phone, follows up, and actually cares about customer success after the sale. The Wall Printer absolutely does.”

Ernie F.

Operator, Wilmington, NC

Questions

What facilities teams ask

What does it replace?

Printed vinyl, sign panels, floor markings and sign shop orders. You print on your own walls, floors and glass, on your own schedule.

What does a square foot cost us?

About fifty cents in ink. The rest is your team's time. Installed vinyl runs about $16 to $17 a square foot.

Which printer for a facility?

Floors run on the Floor Series ($39,995). Walls, glass and doors run on the Pro Series ($44,995) or the Tech Series ($39,995). Tell us what you print today and we'll say which fits.

Who on our team runs it?

Usually whoever runs facilities or the sign shop today. One full day of training, recorded, with the help desk after.

Can we print at more than one location?

Yes. The printer travels in cases, and the same file prints the same way at every site. Multi-unit pricing is quoted by the sales team.

Is there a spec for fire rating or cleaning?

Every project and code path is different. Send us the spec and we'll help you decide where printing fits. There's an SDS for every ink.
