Healthcare wall murals and wayfinding, printed in house
Hospital facilities teams, clinic managers and senior living directors use The Wall Printer® to put calming murals, pediatric art, wayfinding and department graphics straight onto drywall, block and glass, on their own schedule.
Who it's for
Who it's for
Healthcare spaces change constantly: a unit gets renovated, a department moves, a donor wall needs a new name. Printing in house means the walls keep up without a reorder and an installer on the schedule.
Hospital facilities and EVS directors
Department identification, corridor wayfinding and feature walls, printed after hours or around a unit's schedule instead of an installer's.
Clinic and practice managers
Waiting room murals, exam room art and brand walls for one office or every location in the group.
Senior living and memory care directors
Neighborhood themes, resident room identification and familiar scenes that help residents find their way.
Healthcare interior designers
A printed finish you specify on the actual wall, with file specs and a sample before the job. See the designers page for file setup.
What gets printed
Murals, wayfinding and the walls in between
Pediatric murals in patient rooms, waiting areas and imaging suites.
Calming nature scenes in corridors, infusion rooms and behavioral health spaces.
Wayfinding: color bands, department names, arrows and room identification.
Donor walls, mission statements and brand walls in lobbies and entries.
Senior living: neighborhood themes, resident room numbers and familiar scenes.
What it replaces: printed wallcovering and vinyl murals, framed art that never fills the wall, and sign panels for wayfinding.
Getting it right

The wall, the room and the cleaning routine all change what works. Send us photos and your cleaning protocol. The support team will recommend the prep, where printing works best and what to expect, with the ink's SDS on request.
Which printer package
Walls, glass and doors: the Pro Series Package ($44,995) or Tech Series Package ($39,995). Floor wayfinding: the Floor Series Package ($39,995). we'll walk through traffic and cleaning with you before you plan a floor.
Questions
What healthcare teams ask first
Can you print a mural in an occupied hospital or clinic?
The printer sets up at the wall, so the work happens in the space. Most facilities schedule it after hours or during a room turnover. The UV ink cures as it prints.
Does a printed wall hold up to hospital disinfectants?
Every cleaning protocol is different. Send us your protocol and we'll give you a straight recommendation for your rooms.
Is there a fire rating for printed walls?
Check your project's requirements with your fire marshal, and we'll help you decide where printing fits best. More on Fire rating, cleaning and floor wear: what to know.
Can one printer cover a whole health system?
Yes. One printer moves between buildings on a cart. Groups with many locations can also look at the National Account Program, now in development.
How long does a corridor mural take?
The printer runs 10 to 20 sq ft an hour depending on resolution and color mode, plus setup. A 60 square foot mural is about a day's work.
Who runs the printer?
Your facilities team or a local service operator. Every package includes training and lifetime support from Wilmington, NC, 9am to 8pm ET, seven days a week.
Send us the wall
Send us a photo of the wall and the room it's in. He'll tell you what prints well, which package fits and what it costs to run.
Your printer, your training and your support, all from Wilmington, NC.
